Am Chua dam is located in Dien Khanh district, Khanh Hoa province, and about 14km from the city center. The landscape here is very beautiful and peaceful. Visitors can watch the calm water surface, the distant mountains, the clear blue sky, and the white clouds drifting by. Before these scenes, they will find peace and serenity and temporarily leave their busy work behind. Am Chua Lake has an area of about 60 hectares, storing about 45 million cubic meters of water, to irrigate 500 hectares of cultivated land. The dam at the lake runs 128m long and 32m high.

The water from Am Chua lake is the source of life for the Dai Dien field at the foot of Dai An mountain. In addition to that role, this place is also gradually becoming an attractive tourist destination for tourists because of its immense charming landscape.

Young tourists come here to take pictures and relax. They often find a standing angle to shoot. Usually, the area on the dam is the right place for visitors to get a panoramic view of the large lake right in front of them. In addition, they can also go for a walk and breathe in the fresh air. The best time to camp at Am Chua lake in Nha Trang is dawn. At this time, there is still dew on the grass and trees, and the lake’s surface is covered with a light mist. Cu Chi Tunnels proposed for UNESCO World Heritage Site recognition

Information on the plans was released on February 9 by Lam Ngo Hoang Anh, chief of office of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports.  The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is scheduled to send the document to the Ministry of National Defense, the National Commission for UNESCO, and the National Council of Cultural Heritage, asking for opinions on a summary report of the scientific dossier of the Cu Chi Tunnels. The dossier is expected to be submitted to UNESCO in order to introduce the relic site into the list of proposed World Heritage records. As part of the next phase, Ho Chi Minh City will co-ordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to report to the Prime Minister for permission to work alongside the National Committee of UNESCO to register with the UNESCO World Heritage Center, aiming to put the historical site into the list moving forward.
